Lake Caldonazzo is the largest lake that lies entirely within the boundaries of Trentino and, together with Lake Levico, is one of the warmest bathing lakes in southern Europe (with water temperatures of 27°C).
Thanks to the environmentally friendly management by the surrounding municipalities, Lake Caldonazzo has been awarded the Blue Flag for two years because of its clean and crystal clear water.
On one of the banks you’ll find the cycleway that leads to Bassano del Grappa. It's an easy, mostly flat route, perfect for everyone. Along the bike path you can take a break on many beaches, lie in the sun or take a dip in the lake.
Lake Caldonazzo (with Lake Garda) is the only lake where water skiing is allowed. You can also do other sports here, such as canoeing, rowing, sailing, windsurfing or 'just' renting a pedal boat.
Nature conservation and environmentally conscious management!
In the Valsugana Valley and Trentino there is lots to see and to do.
